Epitope Mapping
Precision Antibody™ performs relative Epitope Mapping to assign antibodies that bind to non-overlapping epitopes on the antigen. This process is called Epitope Binning and is essential in to sorting antibodies into different bins based on their relative epitope specificity. Epitope Binning helps you identify potential antibody pairs for the development of sandwich ELISA assays.
Humanization
Precision Antibody™ offers a robust humanization process using the 5x5 Method, which generates 25 unique combinations of humanized antibodies. This is done by applying five distinct techniques covering CDR and Framework Regions of the heavy and light chain variable regions. Each method serves a specific purpose to optimize antibody humanization, antigen binding, and reduce immunogenicity.
Cell Banking
Continual culture of hybridoma cells is not recommended due to shifting of antibody characteristics and production rate. Once the hybridoma clones suited for your work are identified, it is essential to generate master and working Cell Banks from early passage clones. We recommend generating Cell Bank with adequate number of vials that suits your future needs.
Stability Assay
All proteins including antibodies are prone to biochemical and biophysical changes over time. If you plan to store purified antibodies and use them over a period of time, it is essential to validate their consistent performances during that time. Purified antibodies may degrade and/or aggregate and their performances may change.
VHVL Sequencing
Precision Antibody™ offers variable region sequencing for both mouse and fully human monoclonal antibodies. VHVL Sequencing is performed for several reasons:
1. Patent application purpose.
2. Secure retention of antibody specificity.
3. Antibody subclass switching.
4. Affinity maturation.
5. Antibody engineering.
6. Recombinant antibody production.
Conjugation
Occasionally, antibodies need to be labeled for detection purpose. Precision Antibody™ offers Conjugation of enzymes, fluorochromes sulfo-tag and biotin to your antibodies.
